Let's talk Prometheus! See the new trailer on the website.
Lots of theories hither+thither from fans.
I worry the whole origin of man thing has borrowed heavily from the AVP premise - pyramids etc So, I think the original 'Transmission' that Ripley deciphered was left by the Prometheus crew + the 'Company' ignored it!
Plus - it has the Space Jockey+spaceship from Alien - ergo it IS a prequel!
